Spelling:

I have

  • checked the spelling of any unknown words
  • not confused words that sound the same
  • used correct endings for plurals

Grammar:

I have included

(e.g. The rubbish bin (singular subject) was (verb) full. or The rubbish bin(plural subject) were (verb) full.)

(A conjunction is a part of speech that connects two words, phrases or clauses together.)

(A Preposition links nounspronouns and phrases to other words in a sentence e.g. under, with, on, at, to

The cat went under the table)

 

Writing:

I have read through my writing to check that

  • it makes sense
  • it is easy to understand
  • paragraphing is appropriate
  • there are no double negatives

(e.g. I am not going to buy no bananas)
