For book week last week we dressed up as our favourite fictional characters- here we are- can you guess who we’re dressed as?  

Lego Arrays

Today we made arrays with Lego and explained how they represent multiplication, and how they are a great way to visualise multiplication strategies such as the distributive law and the associative law. Here is some of our examples (there were more but my camera took some shonky pics-sorry!):
